Maria Togneri Ricci

Maria Togneri Ricci, 63, of Providence, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center after a courageous sixteen year battle with Cancer. She was the beloved wife of Gerald A. Ricci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Giuseppina (Rigali) Togneri. Maria was an Administrative Assistant at Providence College for 44 years. Besides her husband of 35 years, she is survived by a son, Jeremy E. Ricci; a sister, Diana Patriarca and her husband Luigi; a niece, Kathleen Patriarca and a nephew, Steven Patriarca and his wife Annamarie. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. VISITATION Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
