Mrs. Margarete M. Willard

WILLARD, MARGARETE M., 87, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of the late Douglas Willard, who served on the Providence Police Department and was an aide to former Mayor Vincent Cianci. She was also the companion of the late Eli Markoff.
Margarete was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
She leaves her daughter, Evelyn Ryan and her grandson, Nathan Ryan.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Visitation Thursday 5-7 p.m. Entombment will be in Swan Point Cemetery Mausoleum, Providence. maceroni.com
