Luigi Stanziale

LUIGI STANZIALE, 86, of Providence, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Nicolena (Palmieri) Stanziale. Born in Falciano del Massico, Italy, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Madelana (Abate) Stanziale. Luigi had worked as a tailor for Ben Solomon Clothing of East Greenwich and for Waldorf Tuxedo.

He leaves two sons, Giovanni P. Stanziale and his wife Priscilla and Luigi D. Stanziale and his wife Rita; four grandchildren, Melissa Stanziale, Marlaina Labossiere, Giovanni A. Stanziale of the United States Army stationed in Korea and Christina Stanziale and a great granddaughter Gianna Lynn. He was the brother of the late Lucia Novelli and Rosina DiGregorio.

The funeral will be held Monday at 8am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. VISITATION Sunday 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
