Lucy DelBonis

Lucy (Giorgi) DelBonis, 94, of Providence, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was the wife of the late Frank P. DelBonis and the mother of the late Frank A. DelBonis. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Eleuterio and Rocca (Gemma) Giorgi.

Mrs. DelBonis worked at Jal Creations and Berkshire Place before retiring.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, Paul J. DelBonis; two daughters, Susan M. Rotella and her husband Thomas G. Rotella, R.Ph. and Barbara A. Germano and her husband Eugene; a brother, Louis Giorgi; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Guido, Larry, Benny, Tony and Assunta Giorgi, Phyllis Lamantia, Anna Carchia and Assunta Lombardi.

Her funeral will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
