LOUISE T. (CORSI) RYAN, 68, of Port St Lucie, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Mary (Silva) Corsi.
Louise was an employee of Hasbro Toy Co. in Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 5 years. She then began her career working as a LPN in the Newborn Nursing Department at Broward General Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Later she worked at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart, Florida in the Oncology Department for 27 years, retiring in 2002.
She is survived by her son, Steven L. Benner; a daughter, Sherry L. Golden; and her granddaughter, Shelby K. Cheung. She was the sister of the late Americo Corsi, Jr., Frank Corsi and Barbara Petrucci.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
