Louise Giarrusso

Louise Giarrusso (Martini), 91, of North Providence, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale “Pat” Giarrusso. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Angelina (Sbardella) Martini.

Besides her husband of 71 years, she leaves a son, Lee Giarrusso; two daughters, Lucille Damon and Rose Martella; a sister, Veronica Ricci; two grandchildren, Melissa Dottor and her husband Christopher and Patricia Melucci and her husband Todd; two great grandchildren, Chad and Cole Dottor and her loving dog, Cody. She was the mother of the late Angela Giarrusso and the sister of the late Olga, Alfonsina, Lenora, Rudolph and Benny Martini, Mary Fusco, Elvira Del Greco, Mafalda Ciolfi and Ida Hillman.

Visitation Wednesday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
