LOUISE DI MAIO, 82, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. She was the companion and dear friend of Carmino Baldinelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Immaculata (Balzifiore) DiMaio.
Ms. DiMaio worked for the City of Providence – Tax Collector’s Office before retiring. She was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA).
Visitation will be held TUESDAY MORNING, January 6, 2015 from 8:15 – 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in Ms. DiMaio’s memory may be made to The Tomorrow Fund, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903.
