Louise Del Rossi

Louise (Maceroni) Del Rossi, 93, of Providence, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Del Rossi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Giuseppina (DiFolco) Maceroni.

Mrs. Del Rossi was a Librarian at Holy Ghost School for 23 years. A very active parishioner of Holy Ghost Church, she was a member of the Holy Ghost Church Women’s League and the Circolo Giovanni XXII. She was a volunteer at Holy Ghost Day Care and a greeter at Maceroni Funeral Home for many years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Del Rossi and Deborah Devitt and her husband Dan; and two grandchildren, Kevin and Kerry Devitt. She was the sister of the late Armando Maceroni, Anthony Maceroni, Saverio “Sam” Maceroni, Marietta Grimaldi and Anna DiFusco.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
