ZANNELLI, LOUIS ZANNELLI, 85, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Haven Health Center. He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Bucci) Zannelli.Born in Seneca Falls, New York, he was the son of the late Benedetto and Christina (Amateo) Zannelli.
He had worked as an expediter for the former Coro Manufacturing and Imperial Knife Co. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of WWII and was an avid boxing fan, closely following the career of his beloved brother, Ralph.
Louis was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Besides his wife of 63 years, he is survived by two sons, Michael L Zannelli and Richard L. Zannelli; two sisters, Elizabeth Finelli and Angelina Chotkowski; three grandchildren, Donna Marie Simonini, Matthew Zannelli and David Zannelli and two great grandsons, James and Andrew Simonini. He was the brother of the late Ralph Zannelli, Benny Zannelli and Ruth Carlevale and the grandfather of the late Michael E. Zannelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St. Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
