Louis A. Pirraglia

LOUIS A. PIRRAGLIA, 94, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Viola (Caprio) Pirraglia for 71 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Anna (Pelosi) Pirraglia.

Mr. Pirraglia worked for Leviton Manufacturing before retiring. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven Pirraglia and his wife Nancy; a daughter, Lois Pirraglia; two granddaughters, Sara Pirraglia and Samantha Pirraglia; a brother, Francis Pirraglia and two sisters, Lucy Colvin and Rosemary Pirraglia. He was the brother of the late Thomas Pirraglia, John “Jack” Pirraglia, Joseph Pirraglia, Gloria Pirraglia and Anna Lancellotti.

Visitation will be held Friday Morning, July 3, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
