Louis Musumeci Sr.

MUSUMECI, LOUIS, SR., passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at home He was the husband of Olga (Lepre) Musumeci. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Santo and Domenica (Cardente) Musumeci. He had lived in North Providence for the past 48 years

Louis had worked for the former Allstate Lumber Co. of Johnston for over 20 years. He was an avid bowler. An Army Veteran of WWII, he served in Europe and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery in action. He was a loving and caring husband and father and a devoted grandfather.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves a son, Louis Musumeci, Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Ann Rossi; four brothers, Sam, Mondo, Anthony and Tommy Musumeci; three sisters, Rose Mesolella, Lena Ferriera and Evelyn Ricci and a grandson, Brett Al Rossi. He was the brother of the late Anna Fascitelli and Carrie Warbington who was his twin sister.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Lawrence Church, Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence. VISITATION Monday 5-8pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
