Linda Delle Fave

LINDA DELLE FAVE, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at home, after losing a valiant battle against Cancer. Born on May 1, 1957 in Providence, she was the daughter of Bartolomeo and Yolanda; the sister of Maria A. Masse, the granddaughter of Domenico and Maria (Mariani) Marcone and Antonia and Michele Delle Fave.

Linda was a 1979 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Providence College. She graduated from Classical High School with a Classical Diploma in 1975 and worked in the Information technology Department of FM Global (previously Allendale Insurance) for over 25 years. She loved to travel overseas, in the U.S. and to Canada. She was an avid movie goer and music fan and enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading and was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. She was blessed with a caring and compassionate family, friends, doctors and nurses through her daily struggle with cancer from 2005 to 2013.

Linda is survived by her parents, her sister, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation respectfully omitted.
