Lewis J. Pucci, Esq., 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Monaco) Pucci. They were happily married for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Caterina (Chiaro) Pucci. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of Boston University School of Law and a member of the RI Bar Association. He served on the Bonnet Shores Fire District Council. He was past President of the NP FOPA #13 and served on the NP Land Trust.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Carolyn Pucci of Boynton Beach, FL., Leslie Lancia and her husband Richard of Glocester. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Richard, Sara and Nicholas Lancia.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 8am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th Street, North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 12th from 4-7pm.
