Lena D'Amore

LENA D'AMORE (MANCINI), 100, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio D’Amore. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine (Ramieri) Mancini.

She is survived by her loving children, Leonard D’Amore and his wife Joanne, Jeanette Marfeo and her husband George, Barbara D’Amore-Vallese and her husband Carmine and Kathleen Zarski and her husband Edward. She is also survived by her cherished 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Adolph and Anna Mancini, Theresa DeCosta, Mary Swallow and Angelina LaBella.

Visiting hours will be held Monday morning, December 16, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
