KENNETH J. ROBINSON
On November 2nd 2014, our hearts were broken. Kenneth J. Robinson peacefully departed this earth surrounded by his loving family. He shared 31 wonderful years with his beautiful wife Christine A. (Santoro) Robinson, whom he adored more than anything in this world.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Marie (Maglio) Robinson and the late James Robinson. Ken had many accomplishments throughout his life. Graduating from Hope High School, where he won the John Philip Sousa award for playing the tuba. He then worked hard to put himself through The College of Pharmacy at The University of Rhode Island. After graduating, he began working as a Pharmacist for Douglas Drug where he had continued success. He eventually retired as the Vice President of Pharmacy for Brooks-Eckerd. Ken’s passion, after his wife and family, was his boat “Saltheart.” He brought happiness to all on his boat, from spending time fishing with friends and family to taking urban city children on a full day excursion. He was also a member of Salt Water Anglers Society. Ken loved so many things; traveling the world with his wife, working in his garden, cooking, golf, his family, friends, his puppy Pebbles and spending time with his grandchildren. Ken was the epitome of a “Good Man.”
Ken was the proud father to his three loving children Cheryl Antonacci and her husband John, Kenneth S. Robinson and his wife Jen of Tampa Fl, and Lauren Franco and her husband Corey. He was Silly Grandpa to Quinn & Riley Antonacci and to Zachary Robinson. Ken was the loving brother and friend to Kathleen &Al Sheriff, Deborah & Kyle Rathbun, Joseph & Shirley Santoro, and Michael Santoro & Elaine Gargano.
Ken Robinson left this earth, but not our hearts. He led by example and left a legacy to be followed: Work hard, help and be kind to others, enjoy life and when you LOVE someone, LOVE them with every ounce of your heart.
