Katherine E. Correia

KATHERINE E. CORREIA (PESCOSOLIDO), 93, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Correia and the late Raymond J. Foisey. Born in Mansfield, MA., she was a daughter of the late Arcangelo and Mary G. (Feole) Pescosolido. She lived in Providence most of her life.

Katherine was employed at the DMV for the State of R.I., and the Adjutant General’s Office of the National Guard. She was a member of the Feinstein Senior Center, Providence, and St. Augustine Church.

She leaves two sons, Raymond and Michael Foisey, both of Providence; a brother, Dr. John Pescosolido of Florida and a grandson. She was the sister of the late Margaret Mary Colannino and Delia Bernier.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, August, 23, 2014 at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, August 22nd from 4-7pm.
