Josephine Rotondo

JOSEPHINE (DeROBBIO) ROTONDO, 89, of North Providence, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the wife of the late Angelo Rotondo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Box) DeRobbio.

Mrs. Rotondo worked for Ronci Manufacturing for many years before retiring.

She is survived by two sons, Angelo Rotondo, Jr. and his wife Linda and Steven Rotondo and his wife Denise; a brother, Angelo DeRobbio; two sisters, Dolores Iasimone and Lucy Coppolino; and four grandchildren, Lesley-Marie Rotondo, Michael Angelo Rotondo, Jason Olivier and his wife Angela and Justin Olivier. She was the sister of the late Carmino DeRobbio, Rose DiChiaro, Anna Picozzi, Viola Zanelli and Mary Supino.

Visitation will be held Monday Morning, April 14, 2014 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in Josephine’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Home for Children, 420 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
