JOSEPHINE A. MANSOLILLO (CALDARONE), 78, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Mansolillo. Born in Providence, she was daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Derico) Caldarone.
She leaves her loving children, John Mansolillo and Sandra DeQuattro and husband, David; a brother, Richard Caldtrone, Sr.; a sister, Anna Marie Bonsante and grandchildren , Nina M. McCune and David J. DeQuattro, Jr. She was the sister of the late Angelina D’Errico, Victor, Robert and Ronald Caldarone.
Devoted to her family, Josephine was loved by all her knew her. Beside her children the great loves of her life were her grandchildren, Nina and David as well as her many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
A longtime resident of North Providence she never forgot her Federal Hill roots and all her family and friends there.
Her other great love was Mary, Mother of Mankind Church and all who were associated with it. Her faith was a sustaining force in her life and was a constant source of comfort and devotion.
For all who knew Josie her passing is a great loss and she will be dearly missed.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 9 am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
