Josephine DiFruscio

Josephine DiFruscio (Corso), 88, of Cranston, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late John DiFruscio, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Rose (Marra) Corso.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother she leaves her son, John DiFruscio, Jr. and his wife Theresa; a daughter, Annette Brown and her husband George; five grandchildren, Annette Marie Brown, Gina Schino and her husband Paul, Jessica DiFruscio, George J. Brown and his wife Ashley and John DiFruscio, III and her two great grandsons, Ryan and Jason.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston. Visitation Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Donations in her memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
