Joseph Rotondo, 81, of Providence, a foreman with Laborer’s Union Local 1033, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Greenville Nursing Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Laura (Carlucci) Rotondo. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Josephine (Puetti) Rotondo. He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He leaves two children, Alfred Rotondo and Joanne LaPierre; two brothers, Henry and Angelo Rotondo; a sister Gloria Bellino; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Committal Prayer Service at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
