Joseph Cinieri

February 7, 1927 — June 9, 2013

JOSEPH CINIERI, 86, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Tomaso and Grace (Leone) Cinieri.

Joseph was a Jewelry Polisher with various local manufacturers. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He loved to dance and was an avid Yankee fan.

He leaves a son, Joseph L. Cinieri, Jr.; two daughters, Valarie Leporacci and her husband Nick and Dolores Cinieri; a brother Mike Cinieri and two grandchildren, Nicole and Danielle Leporacci. He was the brother of the late Luco and Manuel Cinieri, Rose Giarusso and Grace D’Antico.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
