Joseph C. Mrozewicz

MROZEWICZ, JOSEPH C., 80, of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lillian E. (Marrocco) Mrozewicz. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charles and Aniela (Konerko) Mrozewicz. He had lived in Johnston since 1962.
Joseph had been employed as an Engineering Technician for the State of Rhode Island for 27 years until retiring in 1990. He had previously worked as a Time Keeper and Road Foreman for the former Campanella and Cardi Construction Company for 15 years.He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph and Christopher Mrozewicz; a brother, Stanley Mrozewicz, three grandchildren, Jamison, Joseph P. and Michael Mrozewicz, and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Mrozewicz . He was the brother of the late Dorothy Libutti and Mary Michaloski.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Adalbert Church, Atwells Ave., Providence. VISITATION Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 222 Richmond St., Providence, RI 02903.
