September 8, 1929 — January 22, 2014

JOSEPH BELLO, 84, formerly of Hope Street in Fox Point, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at EPOCH on Blackstone Blvd. He was the former husband of the late Mary E. Bello. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Francisco and Elvira (Pacheco) Bello. Joe was an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Bello was a proud member of the Teamsters Union and a longtime member of Local 251. He also was a long term truck driver for Hudson Liquid Asphalts.

Mr. Bello leaves his beloved and devoted daughter, Kathleen Bello and her husband, Ken Richardson and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank, Manuel and Marshall Bello.

His funeral will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 8:30am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph Church, 92 Hope St., Providence. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Johnston. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm.
