John J. Tavarozzi

John J. “Tav” Tavarozzi, 61, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the loving and devoted son to Alma (Spinard) Tavarozzi and the late Francesco Tavarozzi.

John was a proud graduate of Providence College and enjoyed time with his friends, playing cards and was an avid gardener. He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years.

He is survived by his three brothers, Edward, Frank and Robert Tavarozzi and his sister, Linda D’Abrosca. John also leaves three nieces, three nephews, five great nieces and one great nephew.


Visitation Tuesday morning, October 18, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St. North Providence, followed by a service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
