John M. “Jack” Perrotta , 68, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Felicia (Boschetti) Perrotta.
Jack was a homicide detective for the Providence Police Department for many years before his retirement. He was also an Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a loving sister, Janice McLaughlin; cherished nieces, Jennifer Gardner and her husband Anthony and Karen Kaminsky; great nieces, Vanessa Gardner and Willow Kaminsky and a great nephew, Vincent Gardner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7pm.
