JOHN P. Dutchover, SR., 83, of Pawtucket, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice E. (Provencher) Dutchover. Born in El Paso, TX, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie (Lyle) Dutchover.
John had worked as a Construction Superintendent for O. Ahlborg & Sons for 35 years, retiring in 1986.He was an avid gardener and sports fan but most all, he loved his family.
He leaves two sons, John P. Dutchover and Donald S. Dutchover; a daughter, Deborah A. Sheehan, two brothers, Edward and Henry Dutchover; four sisters, Susan Consoli, Mary Barchenger, Emma Evans and Dorothy Perez; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William Dutchover, Frances Mueller and Maggie Dutchover.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. VISITATION Friday 5-8pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
