John Brown Marzilli, Sr.

JOHN BROWN MARZILLI, SR., 85, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa (DiChristopher) Marzilli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Angelo and Lucia (Cavalieri) Marzilli.

John is survived by five children, Marie Principe and her husband Tony, John Marzilli, Jr., Michael Marzilli and his wife Jeanette, Lucy Marzilli and Barbara Marzilli and her husband Michael; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; his longtime companion Peggy Benevides and his nurse Mary Ellen who gave him loving and compassionate care. He was the father of the late Vincent Principe and Mafalda “Muffy” Marzilli and the brother of the late Alfred, Orlando, Adolph and Larry Marzilli, Natalina "Natalie" DeAngelis, Mary Conti, Leah Scivola and Muffy Antonelli.

A Service will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
