JOHN A. “TONY” FALLONE, 98, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Morgan Health Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann (D’Arezzo) Fallone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Vittoria (Marsella) Fallone.

Mr. Fallone was a painting contractor for many years before working with his brother at Mr. Joseph Inc. He also worked for Lane’s Variety Store until the age of 91. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was an avid gardener and loved country music.

A loving father and grandfather he is survived by his daughter, Janice DiBiasio; two grandchildren, Gina and Christina DiBiasio; and a sister, Ida “Edie” Martini. He was the brother of the late Joseph Fallone, Guido Fallone, Elena DiStefano and Ida Fallone.

His funeral will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Thursday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Fallone’s memory may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church and Charitable Ministries, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
