John DiChristofaro, 89, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Greenwood Care & Rehabilitation Center, Warwick. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Guido and Guiseppina (Ottaviano) DiCristofaro.
John had worked as a boiler engineer for Royal Metal Corporation of Connecticut, before retiring.
He is survived by his niece, Veronica Auslander; many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Nicholas DiCristofaro, Anthony, DiChristofaro and Joseph DeChristofaro.
Visitation Saturday Morning, June 23, 2012, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
