John DelSesto, Jr., 63, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Home. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca J. (Gasbarro) DelSesto. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John DelSesto, Sr. and Catherine (DiGiglio) DelSesto.
John was the owner and operator of the former DelSesto Bakery, Inc. with five locations throughout Rhode Island.
Besides his wife of 44 years he is survived by his son, John DelSesto, III; a sister, Maria Bullock and his treasured granddaughter, Brianna Jean DelSesto.
Visitation will be held Friday Morning, September 6, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. at MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be private.
