JENNIE MASSARONE (BOCCANFUSO) 94, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Hopkins Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Massarone. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Paolo and Immocolata (Del Ponte) Boccanfuso.
Jennie is survived by her loving son, Michael Massarone and his companion Linda Perry; a sister, Pauline Mollica and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Michael, Sam, Pasquale, Raymond and Joseph Boccanfuso, Anna Lancia, Madeline Mosca, Antonetta Del Mastro, Christine Testa, Margaret Bianco and Helen Marino.
Visiting hours will be held Monday morning, May 19th from 8 am to 9:15am in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
