Jeffrey P. Izzi, 44, of North Providence, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Shannon L. (Tallo) Izzi. Born in Providence, he was the son of Doria L. (Onorato) Izzi and the late Anthony Izzi.
Jeffrey was a loving husband, father and devoted son. He was employed by Cox Communications as a Warehouse Technician and was an avid football fan and loved to play cards.
He leaves his son, Anthony Jeffrey Izzi; a brother Stephen Izzi and his wife Alison and two sisters, Diane Engels and her husband Frank and Lorraine Moschella.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Monday 4-7pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to New England Organ Bank, One Gateway Center, Suite 202, Newton, MA 02458.
