Jean R. St. Pierre

JEAN (MARATTO) ST PIERRE, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Roland W. St. Pierre for 50 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Jennie (Campagnone) Maratto.

Jean worked for the Silver Lake Center as a Pre-School Teacher for many years before retiring.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Kevin St. Pierre; a daughter, Lynn Gardner; a brother, Richard Maratto; a sister, Elaine Lapardo; three grandchildren, Joseph Gardner, Justin Gardner and Gianna St. Pierre; and a great-grandson, Jacen Gardner.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday Morning, November 30, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
