James F. Belluscio, 89, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully at Hebert Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa (Napolitano) Belluscio. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Lillian (Sweet) Belluscio.
James was employed as a chain solderer at Chain Craft until retiring. He was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Finnegan Council and a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Adams Council. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
He leaves two sons, James F. Belluscio, Jr. and Ronald G. Belluscio; a daughter, Kathleen Mele; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. he was the brother of the late John Belluscio, Pearl Rachiele, Angelina Belluscio and Regina “Jean” Rachielle.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
