Irene A. Langella (De Iorio), 88, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony” J. Langella .
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lucia (DiMegilo) De Iorio.
She is survived by her loving children, Anthony “Tony” J. Langella Jr. and his wife, Lauri and Irene D. Villella. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Palma Matera; cherished grandchildren, Diane Howland and Angelo Villella and great-grandchildren, Britney, Nicholas, Ariana, Brandon, Domenick and Nevaeh. She was the sister of the late Louis De Iorio.
Her funeral will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at 8:45am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm.
