Immacolata L. “Margaret” Mandarini (Lepre), 90, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Mandarini. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Cacchiotti) Lepre.
Immacolata was an inspector for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Labor for 30 years until retiring in 1983. She was a graduate of Classical High School and Bryant College.
She leaves her two sons, Richard R. Mandarini and his wife Maria and Dr. David Mandarini and his wife Roseann; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joseph Mandarini and the sister of the late Carlo Lepre and Thomas Lepre.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
