Henry A. Del Rossi

Henry A. Del Rossi, 85, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Berkshire Place surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Louise (Maceroni) Del Rossi. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Mancini) Del Rossi.

Mr. Del Rossi was a self-employed floor finisher for many years and also worked as a maintenance man at Shaws Supermarket in North Providence. He was a WW II Army Veteran, receiving a Good Conduct Medal as well as a WW II Victory Medal.

Besides his beloved wife of 61 years, he leaves two daughters, Elaine Del Rossi and Deborah Devitt and her husband Dan; a brother, Robert Del Rossi, and two grandchildren, Kevin and Kerry Devitt.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9AM, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visitation Friday 5-8 PM. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
