Helen Anne Petrucci

HELEN A. PETRUCCI 89, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Petrucci. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Paseck) Tonderys.

Helen had worked at J&P Coats in Woonsocket. She attended the Fruit Hill Day Services for the Elderly. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and entertaining her family and friends.

Besides her husband of 60 years, she leaves two daughters, Judith Faye Roberson and Christine E. Pietropaolo; four granddaughters, Kelly Huntington, Kathryn Sullivan, Lara D. Pietropaolo and Stacia M. Pietropaolo; three great grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late John Tonderys, M.D. and Maj. William Tonderys.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Fruit Hill Day Services for the Elderly, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
