Gregory A. Lombardo Jr.

GREGORY A. LOMBARDO, JR., 59, of North Providence, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Miriam Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gregory A. Lombardo, Sr. and Maria (DelMonico) Lombardo.
Greg worked as a loan officer for Rhode Island Credit Union for over 30 years. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 76 – St. Augustine Parish, Providence and was a Board Member and Manager for the Elmhurst Youth Baseball League for over 40 years. Greg was an avid card player and enjoyed reading, bowling, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his brother, Leonard M. Lombardo; two sisters, Susan A. Lombardo and Annmarie Mills; two nephews, Michael Medeiros, Jr. and Richard Mills, Jr.; two nieces, Amy Medeiros and Jessica Mills-Shannon; and two great nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m.in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
