Grace M. Caligiuri

CALIGIURI, GRACE M. (IANNUZZI), 94, of Mink Rd., passed away September 18, 2007 surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Felix C. Caligiuri. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Anna Marie (Mangiante) Iannuzzi. She was a lifelong resident of Providence.

Mrs. Caligiuri was a sales person for the former Peerless Company in Providence for 11 years, retiring in 1974. Previously she had worked as a buyer and department manager for the former W.T. Grant Company, Providence for 17 years. She was a volunteer at St. Patrick’s Church Soup Kitchen Ministry, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, and a member of the Mount Pleasant, Salvatore Mancini, and Blessed Sacrament Senior Centers.

She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly M. LaRoche and her husband Lee and Cynthia A. Ruscito; a brother, Domenic Iannuzzi; a sister, Matilda “Tillie” Caparco; five grandchildren, Leslie Bishop Ph.D., Jonathan LaRoche, Laurie Ambrose, Michelle Ruscito and David Ruscito; and her three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Kathryn. She was the sister of the late Frances Dolce and Evelyn Iannuzzi.

Vistation Friday 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers donations to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 would be appreciated.
