Gail Marjorie Stevens

December 8, 1950 — February 10, 2015

Gail Marjorie Stevens, 64, of North Providence, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2015. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Grundy) Stevens.

Gail attended Rhode Island College, and was a long-time employee at Teka Interconnection Systems in Warwick. Gail loved to travel around New England. She particularly enjoyed the ocean in Rhode Island and Cape Cod, and the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire.

Gail was the loving life partner of Fred Habershaw, and a caring aunt to Jessica, Katharine and Benjamin. She is also survived by her two brothers, Lynn Stevens of North Smithfield and Gary Stevens of Somerville, Massachusetts.

A gathering in celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 5 – 6 p.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a brief service in remembrance of her life at 6 p.m. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, 12 Sanderson Rd., Smithfield, RI 02917 www.asri.org .
