Frederick L. Hoerlein, 89, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Steere House, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Howard) Hoerlein. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Herman and Mary (Dower) Hoerlein.
Mr. Hoerlein was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II as a member of the 8th Air Force stationed in England. He was a salesman for Autocrat Coffee for over 20 years.
Besides his wife of 60 years, he leaves his children, Frederick L. Hoerlein, Jr. and Donna Falso, and three grandchildren, Jenna Falso, Kristen Conley and Kimberly Morse. He was the brother of the late Hilda Birsette and Ida Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Steere House, 100 Borden St., Providence, RI 02903.
