FRANK RESTIVO, 85, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Hickey) Restivo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mariano and Pasqualina (Pilozzi) Restivo.

He had worked as a Production Foreman for A. Saugy Inc. of Providence for over 40 years. He was a founder of the North Providence East Little League, a Past President of the North Providence Boosters Association and was inducted into the North Providence Sports Hall of Fame. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of the Sons of Italy, Mancini Lodge and a communicant of St. Anthony Church in North Providence.

Frank was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather. Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a son, Alan Restivo and his wife Beverly; three daughters, Linda Newman and her husband Robert, Sharon McDonald and her husband Martin and Dianne Cerce and her husband Patrick.; a brother, Edmund Restivo; a sister Dolores Caparco and five grandchildren, Julie Murphy David Restivo, Jeremy McDonald, and Matthew and Genna Cerce. He was the brother of the late Anthony M. Restivo and Anna Catanzaro.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Anthony Church, Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. VISITATION Tuesday 4-8pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of Flowers, donations in his memory may be made to VNS of Greater RI/Woonsocket, 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Lincoln, R.I. 02865.
