Frances M. Luther

Frances M. Luther (Zampini), 96, of North Providence, died peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre, where she had resided for the past three years.. She was the wife of the late John H. Luther, Sr. and mother of the late John H. Luther, Jr. Born in Bristol, RI, a daughter of the late Domenico and Assunta (Vigliotti) Zampini, she lived in North Providence for the past forty years, previously living in Providence.

She was a past member of the Maple Garden 1 Tenants Association and a communicant of Mary, Mother of Mankind Church.

She leaves two beloved children, Janice M. Luther and Richard J. Luther, both of North Providence and her cherished grandson, Mark S. Luther of Coventry. In addition, she also leaves her loving brother and sister, Gaetano M. Zampini and Lucy Fusco, both of Cranston, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late Theresa Ferrari, Nicholas, Louis, Felice and Joseph Zampini.

Visitation Monday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Please omit flowers.
