FRANCES DUPRE (PANTALONE ), 97, a lifelong resident of Providence, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the widow of Joseph Dupre and the daughter of the late Salvatore and Graziela Pantalone.
Frances had worked as a ticket seller at the Castle Theater in Providence for 7 years until retiring. She is survived by a daughter, Judith A. DeLuca of Kensington, MD; a son, Joseph F. Dupre of Providence; four grandchildren, Nancy Lambert of Redwood City, CA, Major John DeLuca, USMC, of Alexandria, VA, Rita Borys of Scituate and Katherine Teahern of Crestone, CO. In addition she was blessed with nine great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Benjamin, Katie, Francesca, Brooke, Mark, Gemma and Annie.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence.VISITATION Thursday 5-8pm. Internment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI. 02860 or to Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Ave., Providence, RI 02908.
