Evelyn Polselli

EVELYN (LURGIO) POLSELLI, 92, of Johnston, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Polselli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Filomena (Vuocolo) Lurgio.

Mrs. Polselli worked for several jewelry manufacturers before retiring.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, Joseph Polselli; a daughter, Jane Polselli Stanford and her husband Donald; 3 granddaughters, Amanda Vaughn and her husband Brian, Julia Stanford and Mikaela Holmes; 4 great grandsons; and many loved nieces and nephews. She also leaves many dear friends at Pocasset Bay Manor. She was the sister of the late Anthony, Alfred and Attilio Lurgio, Helen Antones, Michael, John and Vincent Lurgio.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church, 67 Cole Ave., Providence. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
