Eva Picozzi (Forlasto), of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Americo Picozzi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antonetta (Fico) Forlasto.
Eva was co-owner of U.S. Meat Market in Providence. She also worked as a Credit Clerk at the former Outlet Department Store. She loved to travel.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Izzo and her husband, Bill and several nieces. She was the step-sister of the late Anthony Forlasto.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence Friday morning, August 10, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
