Etta Amatore (Ferdinanti), 82, of North Providence, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Amatore. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Rosa (Almagni) Ferdinanti.
Etta worked as a bookkeeper for Amatore Plumbing and Heating. She graduated Central High School with Honors in 1945 and was a member of the Rhode Island Honor Society. She was also a member of St. Pius Church and was an avid Red Sox Fan.
She leaves her daughter, Donna Marie Amatore. She was the mother of the late Anthony E. Amatore and the sister of the late Angelo and Vincent Ferdinandi, Josephine Cenerini, Angela Ferdinandi and Anne Boisuert.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service which will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
