Ernestina Carnevale (DeFusco), 92, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Carnevale. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Emelio and Martha (Russo) DeFusco.
Ernestina was Vice President of Anthony’s Electroplating until retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church and was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Womans League. She loved to bake and read and also socialize and take day trips with her friends.
She leaves two daughters, Barbara A. Carnevale and Joyce M. Mendillo and her husband, Michael and two grandsons, Kenneth Ventura, Jr. and Kevin A. Ventura and his wife, Tracy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial at St. Ann Cemetery will be private.
