EMMA L. (CAPOGROSSO) CIONI, 87, of Providence, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the beloved wife of the late of Armond R. Cioni. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Luisa (Asciola) Capogrosso.
Mrs. Cioni worked for the State of Rhode Island Department of Children Youth & Families before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Steven Cioni; a daughter, Susan DiOrio; and three grandchildren, Melinda DiOrio, Kimberly DiOrio-Rooney and Joseph DiOrio.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
